What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Dei Cavalieri
Decent hotel, slightly isolated, could be improved
Decent size room with a huge balcony. Swimming pool is very large and breakfast takes place on the 4th floor with panaramic views over the surrounding area. This was probably once a truely grand hotel by the look of the marble floors and stairways and the large reception areas. Today, it is looking a little less grand but still repesents good value for money. We were able to check-in early which also gave us an extra afternoon down at the beach.
There are lots of small issues at this hotel which could be easily addressed. There was zero information in our room about the hotel so we had to ask reception how to use the safe and it took a day to discover there was a shuttle service to the nearby town of Campomarino. Only one of the two lifts was working for most of our stay. Breakfast, which should be one of the highlights of the day with an extensive range of hot and cold options, takes place in an extremely noisy room due to lack of any soft furnishings. However, the biggest issue is location; there are no restaurant or shopping facilities in the immediate area and the shuttle service to the beach and Campomarino stops at 7pm.

Wonderful
We booked this place last minute and were more than pleased. The breakfast has endless options and the pool is very big. The location if you have a car is perfect because you can get to the nearby Campomarino town easier (can be done walking). Staff was extremely helpful and nice.

hotel clean, everyday room cleaning service, transport to beach by a small car, pool - good enough, not too much people during the day
Allways the same menu for Breakfast, limited almost no english speaking personal, beach - cost of 2 beds with 1 umbrella 60€ per day, toilet and shower on beach also paid, shower takes maybe 30 seconds which is not long enough
